I'm setting up a chatroom for a friend, and know nothing about html, java, perl, or anything of that sort, but he needed help.  So I said I would do my best.  He wants javascript, but I don't think it can be done, can it?  He does not want any java on his site for some reason.  I found this one: http://www.javazoom.net/services/jchatbox/...x/jcbflash.html  and that is where I met PC-Fre@k.  Any help would be appreciated with setting such a chatroom up.  He wants it in two weeks.  I will test it on my site.  It needs to support at least 50 people if not more, for we are a SETI team, and growing rapidly.  We plan on using the chatroom to host meetings for the team, which has members from all over the world.  I would be most greatful for your help.  thanks.

I started on Tripod...

And now I'm still on tripod... Only the paid version! :d

BTW my site kinda sucks right now. 50% is not working. BUt don't worry it will be working very soon. And me and D-eye (second webmaster)  have a little (VERY BIG) surprise for all forum members and the MOD Team (Right D ;) ?)

almost finished uploading the chat...

I like Tripod, i just can't afford the pay version... I don't make enough money repairing computers in my area to pay for it. Too much competition....  If you're only 50% done, I can't wait to see it when finished.... Do you do it all in Html, or you do you use something like Frontpage?

That really isn't bad. Maybe after I get my car fixed, and get my water cooler installed on my computer so I can get her overclocked. I can afford it..  My wife is really picky about how we spend our money.  But I can see, this new site looks alot better. I love the layout.  I might pick up a book on Html after I learn C++  That is my project for right now. I want to develop childrens software.  I don't like what is out there for childrens developmental learning.  And I don't know if I can do any better, but I think I can at least give it a try.  So I'm going to learn C++ and do what I can.
