ok could anybody fill me in on which modelnumbers are and which are not barton(bigger cache and 333mhz fsb)

if i remember correctly everything including and below xp2200+ is thoroughbred (lower cache and 266mhz fsb)
furthermore i know 3200+ is barton running on 400mhz fsb

the confusing model numbers are 2400+, 2500+, 2600+(there are no 2300+,2700+,2900+)

i know for certain 2800+ and 3000+ are barton cores

thanx in advance :kewl:

Barton Cores - 333Mhz FSB: 2500+ 2800+ 3000+
speeds: 1.83 , 2.08, 2.16 Ghz respectively

Thoroughbred-B cores - 266Mhz FSB: 2400+ 2600+
speeds; 2.0 , 2.133 Ghz respectively

I'd recommend the Bartons because of the higher FSB which allows for more memory bandwidth.
