Tha_rooster Posted May 22, 2003 Report Share Posted May 22, 2003 ok could anybody fill me in on which modelnumbers are and which are not barton(bigger cache and 333mhz fsb) if i remember correctly everything including and below xp2200+ is thoroughbred (lower cache and 266mhz fsb) furthermore i know 3200+ is barton running on 400mhz fsb the confusing model numbers are 2400+, 2500+, 2600+(there are no 2300+,2700+,2900+) i know for certain 2800+ and 3000+ are barton cores thanx in advance Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Tha_Rainman Posted May 23, 2003 Report Share Posted May 23, 2003 Barton Cores - 333Mhz FSB: 2500+ 2800+ 3000+ speeds: 1.83 , 2.08, 2.16 Ghz respectively Thoroughbred-B cores - 266Mhz FSB: 2400+ 2600+ speeds; 2.0 , 2.133 Ghz respectively I'd recommend the Bartons because of the higher FSB which allows for more memory bandwidth.
