Its american rock but you can hear that they are swedish because of the hellacopters/backyard babies influence. They are a late 80's(i think) visual rock band from japan. Their fast stuff is top notch power metal and their slow stuff is quite good. They are the kinds of power ballads. All of their music is powerful, melodic and they have an excelent technical proficency. X japan is great!
