Tha_Rainman
Yep, thats a great heatsink. Apparently it bears a close resemblance to the one on the FX5800 (non-ultra). Have a look at this page. It has 2 bigger pictures and some benchmark data. The benchies are 3DMark03 which is 98% graphics dependent. I still prefer real gaming comparisons. Anway the performance measured is as follows. The Detonator FX drivers seem to give it a nice boost. Mr. Burns
Now that they beat Radeon on 3D Mark 2003.. will they start recognizing the results ?? or will they still say that 3DMark2003 is innacurate to measure the performance of a GFcard in games the heat sink looks nice (again) though
Tha_Rainman
Now that they beat Radeon on 3D Mark 2003.. will they start recognizing the results
Actually, they said that this is not a good gaming benchmark long time ago... after the NV30 beatthe 9700P. But that is a complete debate on its own. Afaik it is still 'blacklisted' I consider 3DMark03 more of a GPUMark03 and 3DMark2001 as the gaming benchmark at the moment. So as GPUMark03 it seems to do a pretty good job.
